Body Meat is a project by Christopher Taylor, rising Philadelphia-based multi-instrumentalist and producer.
On 2021 EP Year of the Orc, Body Meat offers a genre-flouting masterclass that balances eclecticism with accessibility, and pulls as much from Boyz II Men and D’Angelo as it does from Afro-Portuguese dance and Angolan Kuduro music. Written, recorded, and produced entirely in his Philadelphia apartment, the project follows Body Meat’s similarly acclaimed 2019 Truck Music EP.
